Post-sickness Attention Deficit Disorder

So the theory goes like this: Kid gets sick, gets too much attention, gets medicine, then gets better. The the PS-ADD sets in, where kids still expects lots of attention, and medicine. This results in excessive whining and bad behaviour (colouring on walls, putting stickers on every surface of the house and stealing siblings toys.) There is no known cure or treatment....
